EXTRA! EXTRA!Pet PolicyJanuary 02 2008 Important change regarding dog sales.... Effective immediately, retail dog sales (including breeders) are prohibited. Adoption is permissible, but must be LOCAL. Within the Woodlands/Magnolia/Conroe area only. RTW recognizes the need to charge reasonable adoption fees for dogs to help ensure a good home. Adoption fees are fine, but must be openly stated. Why? Illegitimate breeders and scammers have targeted RTW for their use - which is harmful to the RTW family. We understand our users may have an older dog they need to find a new home for a variety of reasons and we will allow pets more than 6 months old. But puppy sales are strictly prohibited.
